About Epiphany
Epiphany is a five piece alternative-rock band making waves in the Manchester music scene, with the most talented musicians and a voice brought in from the east an awe-inspiring show is always expected.

Epiphany was formed in the autumn of 2005 under the name Gavér. Starting out as a “chilled cover band” they soon realised this was not the path for them; they immediately began writing their own music and experimenting with a unique sound, renaming themselves, Epiphany. After proudly finishing their first track, late 2005, they made it to the final of a city wide music competition. The group then spent the next few months, through to the middle of spring 2006, developing their sound and identity. After more live gigs and several successful competitions the band won two days recording time in the highly regarded Inch Studios, Manchester. Inch had worked with such artists as Harry Hill and Moby and now helped Epiphany put together their first, three-track EP. Winter 2006 then arrived, and after a much needed change to the line up, Danny Alexander took the place of former drummer, Adam Paulden. Epiphany was then ready to explode onto the Manchester music scene.

After just seven shows from The Witchwood to headlining at Manchester’s Club Academy and one interview on BBC Radio Manchester, Epiphany were approached by Joanne Pendlebury of Red Shoes Management. Joanne decided to work with the band after attending their third gig, sharing their vision of all the music’s potential. Now with the combined drive of RSM’s hard work and dedication and the increasing passion found within the band; Epiphany were soon called out as far as Lancaster University to play at their end of year event and being requested at bigger venues such as Manchester’s Academy 3 by various promoters. Epiphany were becoming the sought after band.

August 2007 saw Epiphany head into Blueprint Studios to record the two latest tracks (My Alternative & I Pray), part of their new EP and further adding to the upcoming album.

Right now is an exciting time for the band as they have just received a contract from Manchester’s leading publishing company, The City Is Ours Music, and have just stepped out of Blueprint studios with their completed album, Apart From Here.

With their debut album selling for just £4.99 right here on their myspace along with the backing of RSM and CIO Music; the future for these five boys is unpredictable and exciting, and if the past is anything to go by, their music and passion will take them far.
