I'm Adam Barnes, I'm 16 and I'm a Solo Artist & Singer/Songwriter, otherwise known as Motion In Colour. I sing and play guitar and write songs that match my personality because then i find it easiest to express myself on stage.. meaning i can do this lil dancing thing. which goes well with the music, but probably isn't the coolest trend to catch on. its a bit of a knee bopping, foot tapping, shake i kinda have. i love it cause it matches my music which is even though acoustic, has catchy, big and lovable qualities all over it.
I've been playing guitar for 2 years and writing songs for just under that now but been singing quite a while. nothing to serious though. i played in an acoustic band for a year or so and as soon as i took the stage i loved the feeling of it and been playing relentlessly across the south of england since. and since i've been solo things are really picking up.
Why Motion in Colour?.. well i wouldn't really know how to answer. its the one that most appealed to me out of the names we thought of, in a way it should be a really good metaphor for personality. but i didn't think that much into it. it rolls off your tongue well so i think thats good enough reason.
